What is a lathe cut record ? This is basically between a vinyl record and a very cool collectible piece of art. Each record is hand carved on plexiglass and cut on a custom lathe. Like a finger print no two records are a like. Sound is mono, and there is an amount of surface noise on these records (similar to that of an old, dirty record) so don't have too high expectations concerning sound quality. But all records are playable on most turntables and the lo-fi sound is spot on for these creepy Halloween songs ! More informations on lathe cut records here : www.precariancuts.com
